With the installation of 118 new DATS 24 charging points, the Wilgenveld charging site now has no fewer than 326 charging points. This makes it the largest charging site in Europe: a major achievement for Colruyt Group Technics and Nirmana Real Estate. Following inspection by long-standing partner Vinçotte, the site can now be used safely by Colruyt Group employees and by residents and visitors to Halle.

Europe’s largest charging site is at Wilgenveld—and we helped build it!
A team from Colruyt Group Technics and Nirmana Real Estate supervised the entire project: from the initial study and needs analysis to the installation itself and the expansion of the electrical infrastructure.
Maxime Ndao, electrical project engineer, explains: “We are particularly proud to have expanded this site into Europe’s largest charging site in just three months, while completing all the technical, construction and engineering work in-house. We also continue to optimise and innovate. Our technical experts developed their own energy management system, which regulates the flow of green energy to each charging point according to the energy available.”
